3.8-magnitude quake hit 100km from Almaty

3.8-magnitude earthquake hit Almaty oblast, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center. The shocks were registered at 09:44 a.m. (Astana time) on November 21. The epicenter was registered at the depth of 1km, 100km west of Almaty and 97km east of Bishkek. No casualties were reported. Earlier Tengrinews.kz reported that a 4.4-magnitude earthquake hit Kyrgyzstan at 09:28 p.m. (Astana time) on November 19. The epicenter was registered at the depth of 1km, 363km south-west of Almaty, 114km east of Osh (Kyrgyzstan) and 68km east of Uzgen (Kyrgyzstan).
