Three citizens of Atyrau oblast were arrested in suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities and commitment of other crimes as part of an organized criminal group, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of the oblast's court. The arrested persons are citizens of Miyaly village of Kzylkuginsk region. “The citizens Meirbek Zhankuatov (born in 1993), Makhambet Issagaliyev (born in 1990) and Ybyrau Adir (born in 1966) are accused of preparation of terrorist attacks at the territory of Atyrau oblast against personnel of law-enforcement authorities and special services. They illegally purchased shot guns (sawn-off double-barrel shotgun with 50 bullets and pneumatic pistol with bullets). Besides, they downloaded manuals for making of self-made explosives from the Internet,” the message states. The investigation detected that the suspects made money for preparation of the attacks by stealing property and cattle, in particular. The suspects have been put in jail for 2 months.
