Kazakhstan singer Nursi (Nursulu Shaltayeva) from NG band has signed up a recording contract with UpOrDown Entertainment production company, Nursi told Tengrinews.kz.
UpOrDown Entertainment is a music production company for pop/rock recording artists from all over the world.
According to Nursi, she signed a three-year contract with the music production company. The exclusive contract includes a feature film, music videos, albums, and several singles.
“I will record an album and work with American producers and songwriters who worked with Mariah Carey, Madonna, Rihanna and Michael Jackson. We have already recorded about 15 new songs. And we are negotiating cooperation with world artists like Ne-Yo, Akon, Usher and Will.i.am,” she said.
Executive producer of Chicago based UpOrDown Entertainment John Steele discovered and invited Nursi to the United States during his visit to Almaty. He heard her sing in a club and was impressed. "When Nursi sings, the hair on your arms rises," he said about her singing. "Nursi, with her extremely unique, powerful, and instantly identifiable voice, has everything it takes to captivate a worldwide audience," he said.
After finishing the album John Steele and Nursi are going on a tour to different countries. “I will be a support act on famous singers Usher or Akon’s world tours. I will join the tour that will starts when our work on the album is complete,” Nusri said.
The singer is still performing with Kazakhstan’s NG. “I hope, I will be able to invite NG to the U.S. and record an album, including songs in English,” the young singer said.
