13-year-old Aiym Samekeyeva from Kazakhstan has won the Gran Prix at the Spring Voices singing competition in China held on April 30 - May 5, Tengrinews reports.

Young singers from more than 30 countries competed in the contest. The selection stage was hard and many contestants did not pass into the finals.

Aiym stunned the jury on the very first day. She received a standing ovation for her performances.

Her parents noticed her singing talent at the age of 3 when she sang a karaoke and hit 100 points right away. Her first stage performance was at the age of 3.5. Then she successfully participated in several international children's singing contests, including a contest in Macedonia in 2008 and the Silver Dolphin 2009 in Greece.

Aiym Samekeyeva was a prize-winner of the 2nd International Children's Art Festival Almaly.kz that was held in Almaty on March 20-24, 2014.
