Large-scale car festival Summer Drive will be held in Almaty at APORT shopping mall’s parking lot for the second time on June 3, Tengrinews.kz reports. According to the organizers^ more than 1000 vintage cars will be demonstrated at the site of the event. Retromobiles, expedition cars, jeeps, motorcycles, buggies and other cars will be exhibited. The Festival’s participants and visitors will offered to test their cars at a service station free of charge. Car showrooms will present their latest products. Famous Kazakhstan aerography artist Aleksandr PICASSO will be yet another attraction of the fest: he will be making a aerography painting on one of the car's hood right at the festival site. Astana Challenge team representatives have been invited to the festival as well. They will demonstrate the vehicle that the Kazakhstan team used in their expedition to the South Pole. 18 Almaty car clubs will be take part in the fest and compete for the best awards. Experts on tuning, car sound, sound pressure and aerography will also demonstrate their skills. There will also be a battle of the car clubs' cheerleaders. EMMA-Kazakhstan, idrive.kz and vse.kz are the organizers of the Festival. The first Drive Auto Festival was held on October 2, 2011. 500 brightest, high-powered and featured cars from different cities of Kazakhstan were presented at the event.
