Kazakhstan’s boxer and WBO (World Boxing Organization) and IBO (International Boxing Organization) world champion Gennady Golovkin announced his intention to fight Germany’s former three-time middleweight world champion Felix Sturm and IBF world middleweight champion Daniel Geale, Boxing.ru reports. “I’d like to fight high-quality bouts and meet the best rivals. HBO TV channel usually airs my bouts. I think, HBO might be interested in broadcasting of my matches against Strum and Geale. It would be great to fight them this year,” the Kazakhstan boxer said. Gennady Golovkin also named American Peter Quillin, the WBO world champion, as his possible future rival. “Quillin earlier said that he’d like to fight me in the ring. If it is really so, than I’m ready,” the boxer said. Earlier it was reported that 31-y.o. Gana’s Osumanu Adama will become Golovkin’s future rival and this bout will be held on March 30 in France.
