Assanova's collection Silk Way presents clothing pieces for a contemporary Eastern woman. The designer opts for simple yet elegant silhouette using Italian fabric. Silk Way includes cocktail dresses, sweatshirts, trousers, skirts and coats. The designer uses various methods to create complex arabesque patterns in the decoration of the clothing. Assanova said that her collection was significantly influenced by Kazakh national ornaments.
According to Assanova, masters from the Academy of Design and Technology Symbat worked with the designer of the collection.
"This collection is the embodiment of the best designer and technical experience of Symbat. It also reflects rich and unique culture of the Kazakh people," Assanova told Forbes.kz.
The 20th edidtion of Moscow Fashion Week runs from October 29 to November 3 at the historic Gostiniy Dvor.
