It should be recalled that a number of airlines, including Air Astana, changed their flight routes due to the closure of Iran’s airspace.

At that time, the carrier warned passengers that flights to Sharm El Sheikh, Dubai, Doha and Medina would be operated bypassing Iran, and that departure and arrival times might be changed.

An announcement was also made by FlyArystan. The airline clarified that the situation with Iran’s airspace affected two flights scheduled for January 17, 2026:

  • Atyrau – Doha;
  • Aktau – Dubai.

The company stated that alternative routes bypassing Iranian airspace were being considered for these flights.

Passengers were advised to independently check the current status of their flights on the airline’s official website or in the mobile app.
