Norwegian cyclists proposed to nominate Nazarbayev for Nobel Peace Prize
Norwegian "Bike for Peace" sent letters to the US Congress, Norwegian Storting (legislative assembly) and to Northern Ireland MP Mairead Corrigan.
Norwegians will have a bike tour across Kazakhstan
The tour starts on August 6. A group of cyclists will ride along Semey-Almaty-Astana route.
Kazakhstan to send peacekeeping forces to Afghanistan
Kazakhstan will send its peacekeeping forces to ISAF in Afghanistan for six months provided that they are approved and certified by NATO.
