Kazakhstan free-style wrestler has won the gold at the 2013 Asian Junior Wrestling Championship that finished in Phuket, Thailand, on Sunday.
Bolat Sakayev (-66kg) prevailed over wrestlers from Vietnam, China and Iran on the way to his triumph. Sakayev outpointed Indian wrestle with the score 8:0 in the final bout, the Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Woman Wrestling Federation of Kazakhstan reports.
The free-style wrestling team of Kazakhstan earned third place in the general ranking with one gold (Bolat Sakayev -66kg), two silver (Azamat Dauletbekov -84kg and Inkar Yermukambet -96kg) and one bronze (Saken Aitzhanov -74kg).
The Greco-Roman wrestling team of Kazakhstan also won the third place in the general ranking at the championship. Abunasyr Omirzak won gold, Daniyar Kalenov and Zhanibek Kandybayev took bronze medals.
