Kazakhstan boxer Serik Sapiyev has criticized Kazakhstan national Olympics team dress uniform. He is dissatisfied with the quality of the Olympics uniform that have been presented in Astana recently, Tengrinews.kz reports.
“The uniform is not of the best quality,” Serik Sapiyev said. “And they just gave it to us. We haven’t been involved into the process of its creation. They just took our measurements some time ago. And now some of they athletes got the uniform that is a bit small for them while the others got parts of the uniform that are too big for them. I’ve got trousers that are too big for me. And I don’t like the fabric. The design is good enough. If I was assigned to choose the uniform, perhaps, I would have chosen a better option. Those athletes who took part in 1996 Olympic Games said that they had the best clothes then. I haven’t seen that uniform. As for me I liked the 2006 Asian Games clothes. The quality of this year's uniform is a bit lower than that of the 2006 Asian Games form,” Kazakhstan national team captain gave his feedback after the team had tried the uniform on.
