Kazakhstan gained the second spot in modern pentathlon in 2012 Olympic Games

Rustem Sabirkhuzin has become the second Kazakhstan athlete to qualify for 2012 London Olympic Games in modern pentathlon, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Vesti.kz. Pavel Ilyashenko was the first Kazakhstan athlete to qualify for the Games. He was in the list of the 36 best athletes selected for the Olympics that was publicized by the International Federation of Modern Pentathlon. Sabirkhuzin, however, did not make it into the list. But when the countries that had reached their ceilings in therms of the number of licenses returned their spare ones Kazakhstan athlete gained his spot at the London Olympics.
