Bronze winner of Dakar rally, Kazakhstan racer Arthur Ardavichus decided to try himself in track racing on trucks, Vesti.kz reports citing Truckracenews.wordpress.com. Ardavichus is planning to take part in the Cup of France. The first stage of this tournament will start on May 25 at the track near Ales. Ardavichus will drive a MAN of the French team Lion Truck Racing. This team also includes German driver Steffi Halm, who is the incumbent champion of the Cup of France. The total of 18 pilots will take part in the French tournament. The race will have five stages, two of them will be held in Nogaro and Le Mans as part of the European truck-racing weekends. Arthur Ardavichus won the bronze medal at Dakar-2012. His plans to participate in track racing, don't mean that the racer is going to skip the next season’s Dakar rally or switch to track circuits altogether.
