Tengrinews.kz - An Air Astana aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, according to Azerbaijani media.
The unscheduled landing was due to a sudden deterioration in the health of one of the passengers on board.
Upon arrival in Baku, the passenger received immediate medical attention and was transferred to an ambulance crew before being taken to a local hospital for further examination.
As a result, the flight was delayed, and the remaining passengers were accommodated in a hotel.
"The Air Astana aircraft operating night flight KC140 from Tbilisi to Almaty on March 23 made an emergency landing in Baku due to a medical emergency involving a passenger. The individual was handed over to medical personnel. Since the crew’s duty time had expired, the flight was rescheduled for March 24 at 1:40 P.M. local time. Passengers were provided with hotel accommodations, transportation, and meals," Air Astana stated.
