Veterans and orphans will be able to watch the performance of the Cirque du Soleil in Astana free of charge, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Astana Akim (Mayor) Imangali Tasmagambetov, answering the question of one of Astana citizens in his personal blog. The question was related to the citizen's concern over how the citizens will enjoy the performance of the famous circus, if all the city's box offices say that entrance to the show will be provided only upon special invitations. In the official response to the question Astana Akim fully scuttled the gossips about the "privileged guests": "The system of invitations to Du Soleil performance is aimed at giving an opportunity to see the show not only to those citizens who can afford to buy tickets, but also to people from socially-protected categories of our citizens. First of all, these are the children from our orphanages, children from lower-income and multi-child families, disabled children, war and labor veterans. Besides, the invitations will be given to outstanding students and winners of national and international olympiades, sportsmen, best students and best professionals among doctors, teachers, constructors, public transport drivers, small businessmen, etc. That's why there is no discrimination of anyone's interests in this case." Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that the world famous circus will come to Kazakhstan for Astana Day (July 6) to show its fantastic program to Kazakhstan citizens.
