Tengrinews.kz — A new social media trend featuring the song "Otpusti" (Let Go) has caught the attention of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. While the ministry stated that the videos do not constitute a legal violation, they urged Kazakhstani women not to turn interactions with police officers into content for views.
The trend, which has gone viral in recent days, involves female users filming themselves as administrative citations are being issued, lip-syncing to the song "Otpusti" by Yulia Savicheva and Djigan. Many of these posts have already garnered thousands of views.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that they have reviewed the circulating videos and found no grounds to hold the women administratively or criminally liable.
"The Ministry of Internal Affairs, having reviewed the specified video material within its competence, reports that the citizen's actions do not constitute an administrative or criminal offense," the ministry stated in response to our inquiry.

However, the ministry emphasized that the desire to film content must not interfere with police work.
"Any actions carried out for views and trending content can distract police officers from performing their official duties," the ministry added.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reminded the public that officers have the right to demand the cessation of any actions that hinder the execution of their duties.
"A police officer is entitled to demand the cessation of any actions that interfere with their official activities," the department noted.
Furthermore, the ministry urged users to remember the rules of conduct when interacting with law enforcement representatives.
"At the same time, we call on citizens to observe general moral and ethical standards of behavior in society," the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
The department also reminded that administrative liability is provided for disobeying the lawful demands of a police officer, interfering with their activities, or actions that express disrespect or hinder the performance of official duties.
