Fashion Girl Aktau-2012 beauty contest was held in Aktau, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Tumba.kz website. It was the first time a fashion beauty pageant was held in the city. Both professional models and beginners took part in the contest. Five famous Aktau showmen and models judged the pageant. About 10 girls made it into the final of the contest. They demonstrated Kazakhstan Fashion House collection of evening gowns, handbags, casual wear and business clothes and also presented a slide-parade. Aktau citizen Saule Alekperova was awarded with the Model Fashion Girl Aktau-2012 title. Marta Nesterova became the winner of the pageant and was awarded with the main title of Fashion Girl Aktau-2012. The contest has drawn a lot of attention from the model society representatives in other Kazakhstan regions. It is expected that a similar pageant will be held at the regional level for beauties from other cities of Kazakhstan to participate.
