Nazarbayev sends condolences to Hollande over rail crash near Paris

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a telegram with condolences to French President Francois Hollande over the rail crash at Bretigny-sur-Orge station near Paris, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Nazarbayev’s press-service. “On behalf of the Kazakhstan people and me personally I express sincere condolences to the families of the victims and all the French people. In this difficult moment I wish you stoutness and patience and fast recovery of all those injured in the crash,” the telegram says. Nazarbayev continued that it was with deep sorrow that he took the sad news of the train accident. The regional train was heading from Paris to the west-central city of Limoges. It derailed as it passed through the station at Bretigny-sur-Orge, about 25 kilometres (15 miles) south of Paris. Investigators worked Saturday to determine the cause of a train crash that claimed six lives as the French transport minister warned that more victims could yet be found.
