Nazarbayev discusses cooperation in airspace with foreign investors

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev had a meeting with participants of the Foreign Investors Council yesterday, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s press-service. The meeting was attended by heads of the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company (EADS), President Thomas Enders, head of the President’s office Nicolas Chamussin, Director of International Development Jean-Pierre Talamoni, as well as Airbus CEO John Leahy and Director General of EADS Kazakhstan Silver Delone. The meeting covered development of interaction in airspace, the press-service wrote. The President said that Kazakhstan’s cooperation with these companies was developing well. “The arrival of your delegation certifies that our work will be continued. We have already met during my visit to Paris. The existing agreements certify that our cooperation will be developing consequently,” the press-service cited Nazarbayev. The representatives of the companies expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan President for the meeting and agreed that their interaction with Kazakhstan partners was successful. EADS is the biggest corporation in airspace industry and the only shareholder of Airbus company producing passenger, freight and military aircrafts. Nazarbayev is holding the meeting of the Foreign Investors Council in Astana on May 22.
