Representatives of Kazakhstan General Prosecutor’s office met with leaders of the Czech Justice Ministry in Prague, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of the Kazakhstan authority. “They discussed the current issues on the agenda, such as expansion of the contractual legal framework between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic. The Czech party expressed readiness to sign the interstate agreement on mutual legal support on criminal cases in the nearest time,” the press-service writes. The Kazakhstan party, in its turn, spoke of the importance of signing of the document aimed at providing further consolidation of efforts of both countries on countering transnational crime. Earlier Czech Prosecutor General Pavel Zeman met with his Kazakhstan counterpart and expressed readiness to launch exchange projects for experts to ensure a more successful effort against crime.
