Quadruplets have been born in South Kazakhstan Oblast for the first time in 10 years, Tengrinews reports. What can be more emotional than hearing a cry of a newborn baby? But for the happy mom Rabiai Shermetova it was a four times emotional moment. Rabiai gave birth to three precious girls and a lovely baby boy at the Regional Perinatal Center #2. The babies were born by a Cesarean section on the 32nd week of her pregnancy. The girls were born weighting 1.5, 1.2 and 1.49 kilos. Their baby brother was the heaviest of the 4 weighing 1.59 kilos. The mother and children are feeling good. Earlier in June 2011, another super Mom gave birth to quadruplets in North Kazakhstan Oblast. That time it was all girls. The baby girls were born prematurely but fortunately they did not require intensive care. The girls were named Antonina, Yekaterina, Maria and Elizaveta. It was the first time in 20 years that quadruplets were born in North Kazakhstan Oblast. The family of the quadruplets was gifted with a three-bedroom apartment by the government. The Akim (Governor) of the North Kazakhstan Oblast personal came over to congratulate the parents on the birth of the quadruplets. He presented a certificate for a bank deposit on the family’s name of $1400 for each baby. In addition, the family was paid a regular financial aid for newborns in the amount of $1200 and the regular monthly aid of $300 per each baby until they reach the age of one year. The financial aid and gifts like an apartment certainly come in handy for the family with newborn quadruplets. Since there was a precedent in northern Kazakhstan it is quite likely that southern Kazakhstan will follow suit and the happy couple will get something big from the government.
