Tengrinews.kz - Two electricians were electrocuted during repair work at a residential complex in Almaty.
According to eyewitnesses, the men’s clothes caught fire, and one of them lost consciousness. Emergency medical assistance was provided promptly, and both men were transported to the City Emergency Hospital.
According to Almaty’s public health department, the emergency call was received by the admissions department at 1:05 p.m. on May 22. The two men were admitted with signs of electrical injuries, both diagnosed with multiple second and third-degree burns.
"The patients were hospitalized in the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, and Intensive Care. A full range of intensive therapy is being administered," the statement said.
