Tengrinews.kz – President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has arrived in Astana to participate in the "Central Asia - Italy" summit scheduled for May 30, which will bring together the heads of state of the region.

Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are building bilateral relations based on strategic partnership. According to the Kazakh government, trade turnover between the two countries exceeded 550 million USD in 2024 and reached 103.9 million USD in the first quarter of 2025.

Both governments have set a goal to increase trade turnover to one billion USD.

Official data also indicate ongoing systematic work to strengthen cooperation in transport and logistics, education, digitalization, and the oil and gas sector.
