Tengrinews.kz — A covert patrol in Almaty identified drivers who were grossly violating traffic rules. This time, BMW and Toyota vehicles came to the attention of police after their drivers carried out dangerous maneuvers on Al-Farabi Avenue.
According to the Almaty Police Department, the incident occurred last night near the intersection of Al-Farabi and Seifullin avenues. Officers from the administrative police search unit were on duty in an unmarked vehicle and recorded serious traffic violations.
According to police, the drivers of the BMW and Toyota changed lanes erratically, performed dangerous maneuvers and created a real threat to other road users.
Both vehicles were quickly blocked. The drivers were brought to administrative responsibility for the violations, and the cars were taken to a specialized impound lot.
