Zhanar Nurbayeva to represent Kazakhstan at Miss Asia Pacific International 2011

The first runner-up of the Miss Kazakhstan -2010 beauty pageant, 18-year-old Ms. Zhanar Nurbayeva of Karaganda, will be representing Kazakhstan at the final round of the Miss Asia Pacific International 2011 that will be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea on June 11, reports Liter.kz. The Miss Asia Pacific International is the first and oldest beauty pageant in Asia. It began as a regional pageant in 1968, known as the Miss Asia Quest. Participating countries came from Asia and Oceania. In 2011, Miss Asia Pacific International changed name to Miss Asia Pacific World Competition. One of the goals of the pageant is to showcase young ladies in a high quality production that will best represent their culture, beauty, intelligence and talent. The contestants go through a series of rigorous training workshops which include workshops in poise, walking and modelling, public speaking, dining etiquette, fashion and wardrobe coordination, goal setting, health and fitness. These are just some of the myriads of training activities that the delegates go through before pageant day.
