Astana Airport passengers informed of temporary changes

According to the airport administration, scheduled preventive maintenance of the automatic fire alarm system is being carried out in the terminal. The work includes servicing and cleaning fire alarm sensors.

The maintenance work is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The airport warned that during this period, passengers, employees and tenants may experience brief activations of the automatic fire alarm system.

“During the work, the automatic fire alarm system may briefly go off,” the Astana Airport administration said.

Passengers are therefore asked to take this information into account while in the terminal and to be understanding about the work being carried out.

“We ask passengers, employees and tenants to be understanding of the ongoing work and to take this information into account,” the airport administration noted.
