Euro-3 postponed to 2012 in Kazakhstan

Introduction of Euro-3 in Kazakhstan has been postponed to January 1, 2012, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of Kazakhstan Ministry of Transport and Communications. “The deadline for implementation of Euro-3 standards is put off to January 1, 2012 in accordance with Kazakhstan Government's decree No.737 dated June 30, 2011,” the press-service said. The postponement was initiated by Kazakhstan Ministry of Transport and Communications that submidrafting draft decree on the period for implementation of Euro-3. “The draft decree was called forth by multiple applications of Kazakhstan individuals and legal entities calling to postpone the deadline from July 1, 2011 to a later date,” the Ministry said.
