Tengrinews.kz - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a congratulatory telegram to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the country's Independence Day, according to a statement from Akorda.
In the message, Tokayev congratulated Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on the national holiday.
“It is gratifying that Kazakh-Azerbaijani relations, built on centuries-old friendship, continue to develop dynamically in the spirit of true strategic partnership and alliance. I am confident that through joint efforts, we will build on our achievements and take multifaceted interstate cooperation to new heights,” the telegram reads.
Tokayev also wished Ilham Aliyev continued success in his state duties, and extended his best wishes for well-being and prosperity to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan.
Previously, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the President of Georgia on Independence Day.
