Tengrinews.kz - We continue to monitor subsidized flights in Kazakhstan for 2025. This time, the Ministry of Transport shared new details regarding flights in Semey.

According to the ministry's press service, the Semey – Urdzhar – Semey route will be subsidized using the local budget in 2025.

"Flights will be operated by Southern Sky Airlines with a frequency of five flights per week in January, and three flights per week from February to December. The fare is set at 14,000 tenge," the ministry reported.

Additionally, the ministry stated that the Turkestan – Uralsk – Turkestan route is also scheduled for subsidization in 2025.

"The airline responsible for operating the route will be determined in the second half of January after completing all competitive procedures," the ministry added.

Previously, the Ministry of Transport reported that Turkestan has seen an increase in the number of flights, providing residents with more travel options, starting in early January. As a result, Qazaq Air has launched two subsidized routes to Turkestan.
