Tomatoes saw the most noticeable price change, falling by 5.5 percent. On average across the country, one kilogram of tomatoes now costs 654 tenge.
Cucumbers and first-category eggs have also become slightly more affordable. Prices were also revised for a number of basic products, including milk, kefir, cottage cheese and black tea.
The lowest prices are currently recorded in Konaev, where socially important food products have become about 0.5 percent cheaper. Positive dynamics were also observed in Kokshetau, Pavlodar, Shymkent, Atyrau and Petropavlovsk.
At the same time, prices remained unchanged in Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Semey, Taraz and Ust-Kamenogorsk.
