Tengrinews.kz - Astana International Airport will temporarily suspend runway operations due to scheduled maintenance, which is expected to affect flight schedules in September and October.
According to the airport’s press service, the runway will be temporarily closed on the following dates:
- September 1–4, 2025
- September 8 – October 31, 2025
“On these dates, the runway will be unavailable daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Astana time) for takeoffs and landings,” the statement reads.
The repairs are part of routine airfield maintenance aimed at improving flight safety and service quality for airlines and passengers.
It was also clarified that the runway will be open from September 5 to 7, and flights will operate as usual during that period, although some schedule adjustments may still occur.
Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for up-to-date information in advance of their travel.
