Tengrinews.kz - According to the Bureau of National Statistics, the number of motor vehicles as of February 1, 2025, has increased by 107.6% compared to February of the previous year.
As of February 1, a total of 5,775,499 vehicles are registered in Kazakhstan, including:
- Passenger cars - 5,068,227
- Trucks - 570,779
- Buses - 116,493
Vehicle fleet age breakdown
- Older than 20 years – 2,461,752 vehicles
- 10 to 20 years old – 1,367,153 vehicles
- 7 to 10 years old – 647,530 vehicles
- 3 to 7 years old – 834,185 vehicles
- Younger than 3 years old – 364,571 vehicles
Additionally, from January to December 2024, 1,836,300 vehicles were registered, with December setting a record for the highest number of registrations.
By the end of 2024, the total number of vehicles in Kazakhstan reached 5,744,100.
