Tengrinews.kz – Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee Saltanat Tompieva has named the low-cost airlines set to enter Kazakhstan’s aviation market in 2025.
“Among them are the South Korean low-cost carriers T’way and Eastar Jet, India’s SpiceJet, and Thailand’s AirAsia X. This will enhance market competitiveness and expand options for air passengers,” Tompieva stated during a roundtable in the Senate.
She also noted that new aircraft will be added to the country's fleet.
“By the end of the year, 12 more aircraft are expected to be delivered. Since the beginning of this year, four planes have already arrived: two for Air Astana and two for Fly Arystan. Our aircraft fleet is becoming younger every year,” Tompieva informed the senators.
