Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan residents will soon have access to a new direct flight to Germany.
Starting June 1, 2025, Air Astana will launch a new direct route between Almaty and Frankfurt, complementing the existing flights from Astana and Uralsk to Frankfurt.
"Flights on the Almaty-Frankfurt route will operate three times a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays—using modern and comfortable A321LR aircraft. Departure from Almaty is scheduled for 01:30 AM, with arrival in Frankfurt at 06:55 AM. The return flight will depart at 08:30 AM and arrive at 6:55 PM," the airline announced.

The airline noted that the minimum economy-class round-trip fare will start at 288,000 tenge, including fees.
Frankfurt is a major European aviation hub, offering new opportunities for travel and business trips.
It is worth noting that Lufthansa previously announced a temporary suspension of flights to Kazakhstan from January 12 to February 13, 2025. This affects flights between Frankfurt and Almaty, Astana, and back.
