Tengrinews.kz - Mobile operator Kcell, along with its Activ brand, faced a major disruption on Wednesday as users across Kazakhstan reported losing both cellular service and mobile internet for more than two hours.
Frustrated customers flooded social media with complaints, saying they were left without network access despite attempts to reboot their devices and SIM cards. Many noted the outage caused serious inconvenience, as calls, payments, and everyday online services became unavailable.
Kcell confirmed the disruption, saying technical specialists are working to identify the cause.
“Unfortunately, some subscribers may experience difficulties accessing mobile internet. Our technical teams are investigating the issue and will do their best to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience and thank you for your understanding,” the company said in a statement.
