To this end, Kazakhstan will send military experts to Turkey.
"During the 4th International Defense and Aerospace Exhibition SAHA EXPO 2024, the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan expressed interest in the products of Baykar company. The ministry's leadership decided to send a delegation of experts to visit the factory and participate in demonstration flights of Bayraktar TB3, Bayraktar Kalkan UAVs, and the loitering munition Mosquito-U," the ministry said in response to an official inquiry from Tengrinews.kz.
During preliminary discussions, representatives from the Turkish company mentioned the possibility of localizing production in Kazakhstan, training specialists, and providing technical support for the UAV systems. There is also a potential for transferring production technologies and source codes.
