Tengrinews.kz - Meteorologists at Kazhydromet have shared the weather forecast for May 27, 28, and 29 in Kazakhstan.
Frosts again?
Cold air that affected the northern part of the country in recent days will begin shifting eastward. Following the rainfall, temperatures are expected to drop, with nighttime frosts possible in some areas.
At the same time, the main cold front is gradually leaving Kazakhstan. However, a northwestern anticyclone, fed by cold air masses, will prevent a sharp rise in temperatures. Cool nights will persist, while daytime temperatures will range from +20 to +25°C.
South and west to warm up to +35°C
Residents of southern and western regions will feel the arrival of summer. According to the forecast, daytime temperatures in these areas will rise to +30…+35°C on May 29.
What will summer 2025 be like in Kazakhstan?
Earlier, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Yerlan Nysanbayev shared the weather forecast for the upcoming summer in Kazakhstan. In June, temperatures in the north and center will range from 17–20°C, and in the south and west up to 28°C. In some parts of the southwest, temperatures could reach 45°C.
Rainfall in June and July is expected to be within normal levels, though the north, south, and southeast may receive slightly more. In August and September, less rainfall is expected, and temperatures may be about 1°C above normal. This forecast is preliminary and subject to change.
