Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet forecasters have made a forecast of what the weather will be like in Kazakhstan on February 1, 2 and 3.
According to forecasters, a north-western cyclone will form the weather in most of Kazakhstan on the weekend, with which cloudy weather with mixed precipitation in the form of snow, sleet and rain is expected, accompanied by snowfalls, snowstorms, gusty winds, fog and icy conditions. Heavy snow is forecast on February 1 only in the east and southeast of the country, and in the southwest and south of the republic, the spur of the anticyclone will cause precipitation-free weather.
At night, the temperature in the north, east and center of Kazakhstan will fluctuate from -15 to -28 degrees to -0-18 degrees below zero. During the day, a thaw with temperatures from -4 to +2 degrees is expected in the northern and northwestern regions. In the east and center of the country, the temperature will remain within 0 to -11 degrees during the day.
In the west of the country, at night it will be from -8 to +2 degrees, and during the day the temperature will be from 0 to +10 degrees. In the south, at night the temperature will fluctuate from -2 to -13 degrees, and during the day from -2 to +7 degrees. In the southeastern regions, at night the temperature will drop to -5 to -15 degrees, in the mountainous areas - to -17 to -25 degrees, and during the day the temperature will be from -7 to 0 degrees.
Earlier, forecasters clarified the weather forecast for winter 2024/2025 in Kazakhstan. It is noted that in general, the winter temperature regime is expected to be within the climatic norm with precipitation exceeding the long-term norm. However, periods with cessation of precipitation and abnormally low air temperatures are not excluded.
