Current pension levels in Kazakhstan announced

Tengrinews.kz – The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has announced the average size of pensions in Kazakhstan.

According to the ministry, since the beginning of the year, 395.2 million tenge in pensions has been paid from the republican budget, of which 131.3 million tenge went to the basic pension and 263.9 million tenge to the solidarity (contributory) pension.

As of 1 February 2026, the number of pensioners is 2,538,000 people.

“The average total pension as of 1 February 2026 amounted to 157,843 tenge, including 103,931 tenge for the solidarity pension and 53,912 tenge for the basic pension,” the Ministry said.

It should be noted that as of 1 January 2026, the average total pension in Kazakhstan was 143,143 tenge, including 95,549 tenge for the solidarity pension and 47,594 tenge for the basic pension.
