Tengrinews.kz - Major renovation work has begun near Almaty International Airport, making access to the terminal more difficult and reducing available parking spaces.
Starting May 23, Almaty International Airport will begin large-scale upgrades, including resurfacing the parking area and asphalt near the domestic terminal (T1).
"The work will cover the area from the tourist police station to the ramp entrance, as well as the roadway from the main entrance to the ramp," the airport’s press service said.
Access and parking in this area will be partially restricted.
The repairs will be carried out in stages, with parking spaces being closed off gradually. The work is expected to be completed by the end of June.
