Tengrinews.kz - Almaty International Airport has introduced new jet bridges.

It was noted that this upgrade was implemented to improve passenger comfort.

"In the domestic terminal (T1) of Almaty International Airport, new telescopic jet bridges have been installed to provide greater comfort and convenience for passengers," the airport’s press service stated.

A telescopic jet bridge is a device that connects the aircraft directly to the terminal without passengers having to step outside. It is one type of aviation bridge, designed to allow passengers to move directly from the terminal building to the aircraft at any time of the year without being exposed to uncomfortable weather conditions.
