Air Astana warns of flight changes in Astana

Tengrinews.kz – Passengers flying out of Astana in spring are advised to pay closer attention to the schedule. Air Astana has warned travelers about temporary changes to its timetable.

According to the airline’s press service, the adjustments are related to the closure of the runway at Astana Airport.

“Air Astana informs about temporary changes to the flight schedule in connection with the planned closure of the runway at Astana Airport from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM between 15 April and 31 May 2026,” the carrier said.

• Astana – Seoul;
• Astana – Frankfurt;

• Astana – Dubai;
• Astana – Phu Quoc;
• Astana – Nha Trang;
• Astana – Istanbul.

The airline noted that passengers will be informed of any changes to their flights using the contact details provided at booking. The current status can also be checked via the company’s reservation and information center.

How Astana Airport will operate

It was previously reported that from 15 April to 31 May 2026 the runway will be closed daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time. The restriction will apply only during daytime hours — in the morning, evening and at night the airport will continue to handle arrivals and departures as usual.

The capital’s airport explained that the works are planned maintenance aimed at supporting the airfield infrastructure and lighting equipment. Daytime flights will be rescheduled to other times, with changes agreed in advance with the airlines.
