Tengrinews.kz – In November and December 2025, Kazakhstan’s airlines launched and are preparing to open several new routes to countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport, new direct flights will be operated to the following countries: Serbia, Thailand, Georgia, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
New routes
Scat
Since November 3, Scat Airlines began operating regular flights on the Astana–Belgrade–Astana route. The flights operate twice a week on Boeing 737 aircraft.
Additionally, in December the carrier will expand its flight program from Shymkent:
- starting December 15, flights to Bangkok and Tbilisi will launch (twice a week on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8);
- starting December 25, flights to Krasnoyarsk will begin (also twice a week on Boeing 737 MAX 9).
Qazaq Air
Qazaq Air is also expanding its route network:
- On November 7, the airline completed its first flight from Astana to Samarkand;
- On November 10 — on the Astana–Bishkek–Astana route.
Both routes operate twice a week.
Air Astana
The airline will also expand its international route network. Starting November 2, passengers can fly once a week from Aktau to Jeddah (and back) on an Airbus A321.
“In connection with the winter season, the airline has adjusted flight frequencies. To meet growing tourist demand, the number of flights on popular routes has been increased,” the Ministry of Transport reported.
Thus, flights from Almaty to Bangkok now operate 7 times a week instead of 6, to Phuket — 8 instead of 7, and to Phu Quoc — 6 instead of 5.
The number of flights from Atyrau to Istanbul has also been increased — from one to two per week.
FlyArystan
Starting November 29, FlyArystan plans to open flights on the Aktau–Dubai–Aktau route, which will operate twice a week on Airbus A320 aircraft.
