Tengrinews.kz – Information about an unusual incident involving a Pegasus Airlines flight from Istanbul to Aktobe has appeared online. Russian citizens allegedly refused to leave the aircraft after it landed not in Aktobe, but in Aktau.
What happened
According to a post by the Telegram channel Baza, several dozen Russian citizens ended up on a plane that landed not at its intended destination but in another city nearly 1,500 kilometers away.
The flight was initially delayed: departure from Istanbul was postponed by eight hours. When the plane finally took off, the flight was supposed to take about three hours. However, the passengers ended up spending nearly six hours in the air.
The publication notes that the crew announced the end of the flight and firmly insisted that passengers leave the aircraft.
“On board were citizens of Russia and Kazakhstan, all shocked by the situation. But the flight attendants and the pilot were adamant, insisting that the flight was over. As a result, the Kazakh passengers left the aircraft and made their own way to the final destination. Meanwhile, 40 Russians, including five children, decided not to leave the cabin — they fear problems with the migration service and simply do not know where to go or whom to contact,” the Telegram channel reported.
