Tengrinews.kz - Telegram founder Pavel Durov has announced the launch of a new feature that enables ultra-secure group calls with support for up to 200 participants.
Durov shared the update via his official Telegram channel.
“Telegram's latest update brings you ultra-secure group calls. They are protected not just with end-to-end encryption — but with blockchain-like technology to ensure that no one can secretly join as a listener!” the entrepreneur wrote.
According to Durov, users can now add up to 200 participants to any Telegram call, including one-on-one calls, using links, QR codes, or direct invitations.
“And if you need to go beyond 200 members in a call, Telegram voice and video chats in groups support tens of thousands participants,” he added.
Previously, Durov revealed a new AI-powered sticker search feature. He noted that the tool can search more than 40,000 official stickers created over the past 10 years, using a wide range of keywords in 34 different languages.
