Production of the first Kazakhstan cars, Nomad offroaders, will start in the middle of 2013, Kursiv reports from the Industrialization Day fair in Astana. The car is being designed by experts of Agromash Holding (Kostanay) and Ssang Yong Motor Corporation (South Korea). According to Director General of Allur Auto group Andrey Lavrentyev, the project of Nomad offroader may give a good boost to attraction of new investments and technologies to Kazakhstan. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that Nomad will appear in Kazakhstan in the end of 2012. Kazakhstan offroader will be sold for $19 thousand. In future Nomad may become a car of Kazakhstan officials and representatives of the national companies whom Nursultan Nazarbayev yesterday banned from buying cars from abroad. BNews.kz reported that Agromash Holding signed several memorandums with the national companies and state authorities on supply of the cars.
