Earlier, the media reported on an unknown virus that attacked Russians.
"During the ongoing epidemiological monitoring and genomic surveillance conducted in the Russian Federation, new viruses or viruses with significant mutations were not detected," the department said.
It is noted that at present, the epidemiological situation in Russia for a group of respiratory infections, including acute respiratory viral infections, influenza, COVID-19 and community-acquired pneumonia, is stable and completely controlled, the incidence rate is decreasing.
Earlier, the media wrote that an unknown virus had appeared in Russia that causes coughing up blood and high fever. According to information published on social networks, those who fall ill initially feel slightly unwell, but after a few days their condition worsens: they cannot even get out of bed, they have a high temperature of up to 39 degrees and a strong cough.
