Three tons of car oil has spilled on the road in an accident with a KamAZ truck in Zhambyl oblast in southern Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Zhambul oblast Emergency Situations Department. The accident happened at 06:30 a.m. on April 4 at kilometer 547 of Almaty-Tashkent road. A Volkswagen Transporter smashed into a KamAZ truck with a cistern of engine oil. The truck flipped over and three tons of oil spilled on the road. “One officer and one vehicle of the Emergency Situations Department, 3 firefighters, road police officers and road services were dispatched to the accident site. The road service personnel has covered the spill area with sand. The investigation into the accident is underway,” the message states. According to the Department, no casualties were reported.
