Heads of the European Parliament, European Council and European Commission have expressed condolences to Kazakhstan over the plane crash near Almaty that claimed lives of 21 people, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. “All the speakers started the meeting from the words of compassion and condolences over the tragedy in Kazakhstan. They expressed condolences to our country and families of the victims of this plane crash, i.e. there was full understanding and the feeling of solidarity,” Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrissov told the journalists in Brussels after several meetings with the heads of the European structures. On January 29 the Bombardier airplane owned by Scat airline crashed during landing 7km from Almaty airport. According to the prosecutors, the plane was performing Kokshetau-Almaty flight. The accident claimed lives of 5 crew members and 16 passengers, including a 2-y.o. child and 1 foreigner.
