There are no Kazakhstan citizens among victims of Sandy Hurricane in the United States, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the official representative of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry Altay Abibullayev.
According to Abibullayev, all necessary aid will be rendered to Kazakhstan citizens if any of them applies to Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry. Round-the-clock hot lines are available in Kazakhstan Embassy in Washington and Kazakhstan General Consulate in New York for Kazakhstan citizens temporarily residing in the United States and their families in Kazakhstan:

Sandy hurricane reached the U.S. coast in the morning of October 30. According to the latest information, over 20 people fell victims of the storm in the U.S. and Canada. 10 of them died in New York. 8.114 million people were left without electricity in the hurricane-hit states.
